Richard Gibbs- Executive
Director/Head Coach
Richard, a former professional basketball player (NBA)
and college basketball coach, currently serves as Executive
Director and Head Coach of The Next Relevant Step. Because
of his own personal journey, he was inspired to create
the Transformational Learning System™, a proactive
process for engaging and supporting recovering individuals
to experience increased awareness and spiritual connection.
As a Recovery professional, he applies this process, targeting
freedom from alcohol and drug addiction and assisting
in the identification of purpose. Richard brings his passion
and commitment to the field of recovery, producing a highly
unique style and effective approach. |

Jorge F. Galindo M.A., MFT
Jorge is a licensed psychotherapist and the owner of Galindo
& Associates Inc., a private practice in Irvine ,
CA , specializing in forensic and medical/legal issues.
Jorge holds an undergraduate degree in social science,
a master's degree in marriage, family and child counseling,
a master's degree in pastoral counseling, and is currently
completing his doctorate degree in psychology at the California
School of Professional Psychology. He has over a decade
of experience helping people achieve and maintain their
sobriety, and has spoken and presented nationally on the
subject of drug and alcohol addiction. Jorge is on the
Orange County Superior Court panel for drug and alcohol
assessment/testing, and has consulted to a variety of
organizations, including the U.S. Department of Justice,
on this subject. |

Maureen Roudine, M.A., LMFT- Clinical
Director
Ms. Roudine is a Licensed Marriage and Family Psychotherapist,
specializing in personal empowerment and whole-person
transformations. She earned her Master's Degree from Trinity
College and has a solid background in teaching, social
work, business and life coaching, eating disorders, spirituality
and pastoral counseling, and psychotherapy, with an emphasis
on dual diagnoses, mood disorders, and addiction issues.
Maureen has been a guest speaker on the subject of addictions
in all its forms, and covered other such topics as self-esteem,
the value of teamwork, healing family-of-origin wounds,
as well as emotional, spiritual, and physical health,
fitness and well being. For well over a decade her extensive
education, wealth of experience, authentic essence and
passion for what she does, has allowed her to skillfully
facilitate emotional healing and help individuals to enrich
and empower themselves and their relationships. |

Eugene Holden- Primary
Coach
Eugene brings a combination of skills to the recovery
process that creates a space for clients to experience
a connection to their higher power. He is an ordained
minister in Spiritual Transformation as well as a Tai
Chi master. |

Jeryl Thompson- Primary
Coach
Jeryl Thompson is the president of LTP Entertainment,
a full service music production and development company
for young entertainers honing their skills for the big
time. He also does personal development for baseball players
vying for a career as a professional athlete. His success
has been tried and proven by countless musicians and artists
enjoying careers in the music business, as well as players
being signed to contracts with professional teams. Shifting
focus to the other aspect of his existence, helping people
recover from hopeless states, he is now working with The
Next Relevant Step as a Recovery Coach utilizing his 12
years of experience in that element. |

Sinead Flanagan PhD
Sinead brings a wealth of diverse experience originating
in social work in Ireland. She worked at the renowned
Priory Hospital in London as an addiction therapist, where
she trained in and also founded the auricular acupuncture
detoxification program. A certified alcohol and drug abuse
counselor, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work,
as well as both Masters and Doctoral degrees in the Philosophy
of Metaphysics. For the past five years, she has maintained
a private spiritual healing practice in both Boston and
Los Angeles, focused on healing the underlying causes
of all physical and emotional illness. |
